Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Nursery Manager located in Hove. The Nursery Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring the smooth and effective management of staff, and maintaining high standards of care and education. Responsibilities include staff scheduling, curriculum planning, health and safety compliance, parent communication, and keeping accurate records. The Nursery Manager will also lead staff training and professional development, handle admissions and budgeting, and create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
Qualifications
* Experience in Early Childhood Education, Childcare, and Staff Management
* Skills in Curriculum Planning, Lesson Planning, and Educational Standards compliance
* Proficiency in Health and Safety Compliance, Record Keeping, and Administration
* Strong communication skills for Parent Communication and Staff Training
* Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children
* Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 3 in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
* Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or in a similar leadership role
