Packaging Assistant - FTC 18 Months

About the role
Support the Brand and Product Managers to ensure Own Brand artwork is delivered on time, meeting brand guidelines.
Responsibilities
* Support Own Brand Managers in bringing new, redeveloped and redesigned products to market.
* Project‑manage the artwork process for Own Brand packaging from internal brief to release to suppliers.
* Work with design.com to check and approve proofs for production, securing stakeholder approvals.
* Create barcodes and liaise with the Barcoding team for barcode approval.
* Work with Brandbank to ensure products are visible on the website.
* Assist manager in improving working methods and implementing changes where required.
* Champion diversity and inclusion, ensuring everyone feels welcome.
* Liaise with suppliers, colleagues and customers professionally, providing high‑standard customer service.
* Agree on timescales with suppliers for implementation of improvements.
* Build strong working relationships with CAs, CMS, Design & artwork agencies.
* Complete work by required deadlines without compromising customer service.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Commercially focused mindset.
* IT literacy in MS Office.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Proven ability to deliver accurate work consistently.
* Organised and able to prioritise.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Self‑motivated to work independently.
* Problem‑solving skills, escalating issues appropriately and timely.
* Proactive planning for activity and projects with manager.
* Effective internal and external relationship management.
* Curiosity to learn, add value and drive improvement.
