Mission
* Playing a key role in the land strategy for wind, solar, and storage projects in the prospecting phase.
* Leading negotiations and securing land rights for solar, storage, and wind projects.
* Managing relationships with land stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
* Managing internal land negotiations.
* Representing EDP Renewables professionally and maintaining good relationships with landowners, tenant farmers, estate managers, land agents, and others involved in land management.
* Establishing partnerships with external land service providers and participating in tender processes.
* Understanding farming and forestry economics and regulations.
* Attending stakeholder consultations and meetings.
* Coordinating with internal and external resources such as legal, GIS, planning, and technical teams.
* Providing technical support on land issues for project managers.
* Supporting final lease procedures, including notary and surveyor interactions.
* Implementing procedures related to land issues for storage, solar, and wind farms.
Required Profile
Academic Level
Degree in a relevant field (e.g., rural surveying, estate management). Chartered Surveyor status is preferred.
Professional Experience
3-5 years in solar, storage, or wind project development from a land management perspective.
Knowledge and Skills
* Strong negotiation skills and experience in land transactions.
* Understanding of forestry, farming, and commercial property sectors, sustainability, and land management.
* Experience with renewable energy development processes.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Fluent in English.
* Valid driving license.
* Previous land surveying experience, preferably in renewables.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational skills and report writing ability.
Additional Notes
Fluency in English is required. A work permit may be necessary if you are not a passport holder of the UK.
