Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. NVQ level 3 or GCSE level A – C or equivalent Including; Maths Numeracy and English
Desirable criteria
2. Security Industry Association licence (SIA) NVQ level 4
3. Prevention & Management of Violence & Aggression
4. Trained in Compliance with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
5. Leadership & Management Apprenticeships Level 3: First Line Managers
Experience
Essential criteria
6. Demonstrable ability to lead, plan and prioritise own workload and that of others.
7. Previous Customer care environment
8. Experience of Supervising staff
Desirable criteria
9. Experience in leading in a General acute hospital environment providing porter and security services, or able to demonstrate excellent transferrable skills.
10. Previous security experience
11. Major incident and business continuity response awareness
12. Experience in teamwork with responsibility for movements of patients, medical gas supplies, blood products and response to violent and aggressive incidents
13. Helicopter Landing – ground procedures
