Working within the PSG Autopart Implementation team, the Autopart Implementation Consultant will implement and support the delivery of Autopart ERP projects and ad-hoc work. The Consultant will deliver core functionality within Autopart through the Capability Lead programme and contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery by providing feedback to the Centre of Excellence and Management teams.
Responsibilities
* Lead delivery of implementation projects for the Automotive suite of products.
* Provide training and consultancy for the customer.
* Resolve, or assist in the resolution of, customer problems and queries arising from the implementation and live operation of software at customer sites.
* Attend project meetings internally or with clients to gain/impart knowledge and document details.
* Assist with the ongoing Automotive support function by taking support calls from clients and processing them as required (office-based or remote).
* Liaise with customers to define requirements and specifications for modifications to the software.
* Collaborate with the development team to understand specifications and test developed changes.
* Train colleagues and the customer project team to ensure smooth handover to support.
* Cover for colleagues as needed and undertake other duties as reasonably requested.
* Produce and submit consultancy documentation in line with company procedures and complete timesheets as required.
Skills, Knowledge And Experience
Experience and/or Qualifications
* A minimum of 1-year experience in the implementation of ERP systems.
* Successful implementation of multiple end-to-end projects.
* Essential: Experience working as a consultant for a software house in project delivery, with customer-facing training and workshop presentations; demonstrable configuration, installation and implementation experience relating to ERP Go Live events; excellent customer service and customer-facing skills; proficiency in Office 365.
* Desirable: Industry knowledge of the Automotive After Market; knowledge of SQL database platforms for ERP solutions or similar.

* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse groups and maintain effective team relationships.
* Ability to work under pressure with limited direction to complete tasks accurately and on time.
* Professional and structured communication up to board level; ability to investigate issues and generate effective solutions.
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage workload and documentation, including timesheets and site visits.
* Calm under pressure and able to adapt within a team.
* Ability to escalate issues appropriately and delegate tasks when needed.
Other
* The role requires a valid UK driving license and a suitable vehicle to travel.
