JP Corry Antrim, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. We are recruiting for a Proactive Sales Executive based at Unit 12 Pennybridge Industrial Estate, Co. Antrim, BT42 3HB. The Proactive Telesales Executive role is integral to the smooth running of sales and operations within the Ballymena branch. The role reports to the Branch Manager and is key to driving proactive sales from the branch. The position will assist and liaise with the trade counter, yard operations, the sales representative and the driver for the branch. Role responsibilities
* Solicit proactive sales from new and existing customers
* Support the external sales team with customer requests (e.g., technical information, updated quotes or required product certification)
* Place direct sales orders, organise delivery times, and notify customers
* Follow up on general phone enquiries, supporting the branch in all aspects of customer service
* Provide excellent customer service by processing and authorising a variety of customer transactions (face to face, telephone and online)
* Identify and generate sales opportunities for the full range of JP Corry products
* Ensure minimum stock shrinkage and accurate daily stock counts
* Complete transport audits and dispatch documentation as necessary, passing to the Branch Manager for regular sign off
* Any other duties deemed reasonable

Suitable candidates will ideally have/ be
* A proven track record of sales / business development with a good understanding of product knowledge and routes to market
* Strong IT skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Natural passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience; confident working under pressure
* Ability to manage and prioritise own diary and workload
* Flexible and adaptable to meet changing requests and demands
* Good problem-solving ability
* Prior experience of using a CRM system

Hours
Hours: Mon – Thurs 08:00 – 17:00; Fri 07:30 – 16:00 and occasional Saturday mornings as required. We are flexible to consider a variety of working hours/patterns to suit your needs.
