Mechanical Fitters - Swindon (Immediate Start)
Location: Swindon, UK
Pay Rate: £26.00 - £27.00 per hour (Mon-Fri)
Overtime: Saturday x1.3 | Sunday x2.0
Hours: 60-70 hours per week (10-12 hours per day)
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities
* Installation and fitting of heavy industrial machinery and associated components.
* Working from technical drawings and engineering specifications.
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures.
* Assisting with mechanical assembly, alignment, and commissioning tasks as required.
* Collaborating with other trades to maintain site efficiency and safety.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in an industrial or engineering environment.
* Strong understanding of mechanical assembly and installation.
* Relevant trade qualifications or time-served experience.
* Ability to work long hours and maintain high standards of safety and productivity.
* Two recent, project-specific references.
