The payroll team works closely with clients to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing across a variety of sectors. As the team continues to expand, our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Senior Associate to join the team. Job Duties of the Payroll Manager include: Lead, mentor, and develop the payroll team to drive performance and support professional growth. Manage end-to-end payroll processes for multiple clients, ensuring compliance with UK laws and meeting deadlines. Review and approve payroll outputs for accuracy, while tracking KPIs and SLAs to maintain service excellence. Build strong client relationships and offer expert guidance on payroll and regulatory matters. Ensure legal compliance in all payroll activities and produce accurate reports for clients and stakeholders. Identify and implement process enhancements, lead efficiency projects, and support business development efforts. What you need to be the Successful Payroll Manager? Proven background as a Payroll Manager, preferably in large organisations or accountancy firms. Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, best practices, and payroll systems. Effective team leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Skilled in managing complex payroll data; familiarity with payroll software and advanced IT skills is a plus. Strong problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail. CIPP qualification or equivalent preferred; international payroll experience and ability to perform under pressure are advantageous.
