Job Description
Brief:
* To partner with the Artistic Director to form keystrategic policy and to take responsibility for the efficient running and financial management of the company.
* To marry the artistic ambition with the logistical, financial and practical resources of the company and to create and sustain a business model to do so.
* To oversee the practical delivery of the artistic programme.
* To drive imaginative strategic thinking, analysis, financial management and rigour throughout the senior management team in response to the artistic ambition, and to create initiatives and operational strategy to do so.
* To secure the day to day operation of the company, creating an environment in which everyone working at the Almeida can flourish.
* To report to the Board of Trustees on a regular basis to ensure that the Board is aware of key strategic, operational and financial matters.

Job Requirements
* Minimum of three years' experience of theatre producing and/or senior management of a performing arts company and also experience of working with commercial producers.
* Demonstrable experience of working directly with senior artists.
* Significant ability in financial and budget management.
* Ability to engage with public funding organisations, individual and corporate donors and to work with the fundraising team to drive forward with fundraising targets.
