Your new role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join our team. This role involves long-term planning and marking, starting in September. The successful candidate will inspire and nurture creativity in students, helping them to develop their artistic skills and appreciation for the arts.
1. Plan and deliver engaging and effective KS2 lessons to students.
2. Develop long-term plans and schemes of work for the art curriculum.
3. Assess and mark students' work, providing constructive feedback.
4. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
5. Encourage students' artistic expression and critical thinking.
6. Organise and participate in extracurricular art activities and events.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
What you'll need to succeed
8. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
9. Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to undergo a new check.
10. Strong knowledge of KS2 curriculum.
11. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills.
12. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
