We are recruiting for a Head of Catering to lead the F&B operations at a major multi-site venue in the East Midlands. This is a senior leadership role in a diverse operation that includes event-day and retail catering, hospitality suites and restaurants, and bar, cafes and meetings & events catering.
The Position
You will lead a large team including the Head of F&B and Executive Chef and work closely with the Commercial Director to drive commercial performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
Due to an upcoming team change, we are looking to appoint as soon as possible. The role is available on either an interim or permanent basis, depending on candidate availability and fit.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire the catering team across all outlets
* Manage budgets, margins, and financial reporting
* Drive innovation, service quality, and guest experience
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and licensing standards
* Collaborate with internal departments and external partners
* Support recruitment, development, and performance management of the team
The Person
Keen to speak with experienced leaders from contract catering, events, or hospitality who are used to working in complex, multi-outlet environments. You will be commercially astute, people-focused, and thrive in fast-paced, customer-facing settings. A passion for live entertainment and music would be a real asset in this environment.
* Management, Food Safety, and Health & Safety qualifications are desirable.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of the catering and hospitality industry.
* Sound understanding of budgets, margin control, and financial reporting.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills.
* Strong leadership qualities and a genuine belief in developing people.
