We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven External Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will represent our company, primarily offering air compressor services while promoting our full portfolio of products. Your key responsibilities will include: Sales and Profit Targets: Meet agreed sales and profit targets as set by the Sales Manager. Territory Management: Manage your territory with an effective call plan, achieving a minimum of 40 calls per month to new or existing customers. Customer Acquisition: Target new customers to win air compressor service work and prospect new and drifted accounts. Product Promotion: Actively promote the remainder of the companys portfolio to existing customers. Relationship Building: Develop relationships with key accounts in your assigned territory. Reporting: Track customer calls and provide reports using the CRM tool as directed. Submit a monthly sales report including projected invoicing through HubSpot and a weekly sales figures/opportunities report to the Sales Manager by Friday 12:00. Complete your call plan through Outlook by Friday 17:00. Quote Management: Effectively manage the quote log and follow up as needed. Ensure quotations are approved by the Sales Manager before submission unless otherwise arranged. Order Processing: Orders must be entered via the office sales and service team. You will not be permitted to place customer purchase orders. Training: You will receive training approved by the Sales Manager, including but not limited to: HPC/Kaeser air compressors Infinity Pipework systems HubSpot CRM Requirements: Proven experience in sales, preferably in a technical or engineering field. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in CRM tools, particularly HubSpot. Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
