The Role
As an OLR Case Worker with the RMA, you’ll provide support, advice and guidance to Lead Authorities and other partners related to the oversight of Scotland’s Order for Lifelong Restriction (OLR) sentence. This role involves rigorous review and evaluation of Risk Management Plans, Annual Implementation Reports, Risk Assessment Reports and Accreditation applications. You’ll be a key contact for justice agencies for advice and support, and you’ll contribute to the review, development and maintenance of of case records and databases.
To apply for this role, you should hold a degree level qualification in a relevant discipline such as social work, psychology or law. We’re looking for you to have current knowledge and demonstrable understanding of the justice system. The ability to identify issues and suggest solutions will be crucial, and any experience in research or project management skills would be advantageous.
