Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team in our soon-to-be-open coffee shop. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while delivering exceptional service. Your expertise in coffee preparation and food safety will ensure that every beverage and food item meets our high standards. Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes and standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
* Adhere to food safety guidelines during food preparation and serving processes.
* Assist with food preparation tasks, including baking pastries or preparing light snacks as required.
* Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
* Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
* Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills for processing payments.
Experience
* At least 1 year of experience is preferred.
* Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable.
* Experience in serving customers in a café or restaurant setting is advantageous.
* Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 37.5 per week
