We're working with a rapidly growing name in the payments industry to appoint a New Business Sales Executive (Mid-Market). This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious fintech that's helping businesses streamline the way they take payments — in-store, online, and on the move.
The Role
You'll take responsibility for driving new business across the SME and mid-market space, managing your own pipeline and building strong relationships with local businesses. Success will come from combining a consultative approach with the hunger to exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
* Develop and deliver a territory plan to attract new customers.
* Generate new leads through networking, introductions, and self-sourcing.
* Build and maintain relationships with introducers and business partners.
* Present and sell a range of payment solutions, including POS and eCommerce systems.
* Negotiate commercial terms that deliver value for both customer and company.
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.
* Provide feedback on market trends, competitors, and customer needs.
What We're Looking For
* At least 2 years' experience in card acquiring or payments sales.
* A proven track record in B2B new business development.
* Confident, consultative sales style with strong negotiation skills.
* Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, including C-level contacts.
* Self-motivated, energetic, and able to work independently.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Degree desirable but not essential.
