Location: Leeds / Manchester / Sheffield Area (Field-Based | Full-time | Permanent) We’re working with a rapidly growing name in the payments industry to appoint a New Business Sales Executive (Mid-Market). This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious fintech that’s helping businesses streamline the way they take payments — in-store, online, and on the move. The Role You’ll take responsibility for driving new business across the SME and mid-market space, managing your own pipeline and building strong relationships with local businesses. Success will come from combining a consultative approach with the hunger to exceed sales targets. Key Responsibilities Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets. Develop and deliver a territory plan to attract new customers. Generate new leads through networking, introductions, and self-sourcing. Build and maintain relationships with introducers and business partners. Present and sell a range of payment solutions, including POS and eCommerce systems. Negotiate commercial terms that deliver value for both customer and company. Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction. Provide feedback on market trends, competitors, and customer needs. What We’re Looking For At least 2 years’ experience in card acquiring or payments sales. A proven track record in B2B new business development. Confident, consultative sales style with strong negotiation skills. Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, including C-level contacts. Self-motivated, energetic, and able to work independently. Full UK driving licence. Degree desirable but not essential.
