Location: Derby (and surrounding areas) Salary: £17.01 Hours: 8:00 - 16:00 Full-time About the Role: Were looking for an experienced Joiner to join our Repairs Team, delivering high-quality joinery repairs, maintenance, renovations, and installations across our housing stock, schools, and public buildings. This is a hands-on role where youll take pride in your craft, work independently, and contribute to a supportive, multi-skilled team. Key Responsibilities: Carry out joinery repairs, 1st and 2nd fix installations, and renovations. Interpret technical drawings and specifications. Use your initiative to solve minor technical issues on-site. Maintain vehicle stock levels for efficiency. Liaise with customers and work within an appointment system. Complete accurate records of time, materials, and work completed. Participate in an out-of-hours emergency repair rota. What Were Looking For: Essential: BTec or City & Guilds Level 2 in Joinery/Carpentry. Experience in repairs and maintenance of domestic dwellings. Strong customer service skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Current driving licence (willing to undertake a driving assessment). Desirable: Level 3 Joinery/Carpentry qualification.
