This role requires 12 hours per week during term time, with additional hours during school holidays when the site is closed, to complete larger tasks and meet with contractors. This may be paid as overtime or time in lieu, depending on the school needs. Main Responsibilities: Opening the school before 7:30 a.m. and locking up between 5:00–5:30 p.m. Carrying out weekly, monthly, six-monthly, and annual site checklists (with guidance from the Headteacher). Ensuring health and safety compliance. Removing waste and maintaining site security. Assisting with chicken care as part of a rota. Undertaking basic school improvements, including general maintenance, painting, gardening, and use of tools. Responding to emergency call-outs outside of hours. Managing gritting and snow-clearing procedures when required.
