Join our client as an HR & Accounts Administrator!
Are you an experienced Administrator with a flair for finance? Do you thrive in a supportive, family-run environment? Our client, a well-established manufacturing and production company based in Washington, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR & Accounts Administrator to become an integral part of their team!
This is a permanent position where you will play a key role in day-to-day accounts and support HR functions after your probation period. Full training will be provided, so if you're eager to learn and grow, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
What's on Offer:
1. Salary: £32, (depending on experience) + company performance bonus
2. Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 08:30 - 17:00 (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Friday: 08:30 - 14:30 (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts:
10. Manage purchase and sales ledgers
11. Handle invoicing, credit control, and supplier payments
12. Process expenses and bank reconciliations
13. Assist with month-end procedures and VAT returns
General Administration:
14. Provide filing, scanning, and office support
15. Monitor and manage the accounts email inbox
16. Handle incoming calls and visitor inquiries
17. Maintain workwear and equipment inventory
HR & Payroll Support (post-probation):
18. Manage employee records and personnel files
19. Assist with recruitment and onboarding
20. Support payroll administration, including holiday approvals and sickness records
21. Ensure compliance with HR policies
Skills & Experience
22. Previous experience in administration, preferably in finance or HR
23. Strong organisational and time management skills
24. High attention to detail and confidentiality
25. Confident communicator, capable of working across departments
26. Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) is a plus (training provided!)
To Note
27. Full UK driving license or reliable commuting options to Washington (required due to limited public transport)
28. Two references required
29. Subject to a satisfactory DBS check
