Urgent Dispatch Coordinator

We are advertising a part-time Urgent Dispatch Coordinator position within Bracebridge Health (Lincoln) Emergency Operations Centre. The working pattern is Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 10:00 to 18:00.
You will work independently and as part of a wider team of A&E dispatchers to ensure the most appropriate resources are dispatched to patients for transportation.
Main duties of the job
The role includes:
* Dispatching urgent operational resources for non-emergency bookings received from medical professionals.
* Negotiating workload and making rational decisions to maximize resource utilization within shift times, ensuring patients are collected within specified timeframes.
* Communicating effectively with operational resources in a busy, high-pressure environment to achieve timely responses and positive outcomes.

Person Specification
* Consistent attendance over the past 12 months
* Ability to understand statistical information
* Knowledge of control room systems and procedures
* Good geographical knowledge of EMAS and surrounding districts, with a basic understanding of dispatch processes
* Problem-solving skills and effective organizational abilities on own initiative
* Experience managing the HEMS, Urgent, or CFR Desk
* Knowledge of dispatch protocols
