Lecturer in Motor Vehicle

The role:
An exciting appointment has arisen for an experienced, talented and highly motivated individual to teach on our Motor Vehicle programmes. The candidate should possess a suitable qualification (minimum level 3) and have experience of teaching arrange of topics, ideally to include hybrid and electric vehicles. A recognised teaching qualification is desirable.
1. Full time (37 hours per week)
2. Permanent
3. £25, - £49, per annum depending on qualifications & experience.

Key Responsibilities:
5. Plan, prepare, and teach across a range of courses ensuring schemes/records of work, assignment schedules, are appropriate
6. Ensure teaching and learning strategies and teaching materials are planned as well as accessible to meet the varied needs of all learners
7. Assess and monitor learner progress, including the setting of targets, maintaining records of work and achievement in line with internal and external schedules/ criteria and college targets
8. Promote and encourage positive student behaviour in accordance with the College values both in the classroom and wider college environment.
About you:
9. Professional qualification or degree in relevant area or equivalent
10. Teaching/Training qualification or be prepared to work towards and/or knowledge of embedding Key Skills into the relevant curriculum
11. Ability to deliver Courses Levels 1-3
12. Experience within the Motor Vehicle sector
13. Excellent organisational skills.
