Position: Director of Behavioral Health
As the Director of Behavioral Health, you will provide professional clinical leadership and direct administration to all inpatient and outpatient behavioral health departments. Your role will focus on achieving results in clinical quality, service excellence, human resource management, and financial management. The director will also assist in developing and implementing a strategic plan for the growth and development of behavioral health services.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in nursing required; Master's Degree preferred
* Three years of direct patient care in an inpatient and/or outpatient behavioral health setting required; two years of supervisory experience preferred
* Experience in group and individual therapy required; experience in family and marital therapy preferred
* Healthcare provider (CPR) certification within 6 months; comprehensive crisis management (CCM) certification within 12 months of start date
* Desire to develop management skills and accept responsibility for department functioning, including in the absence of the service line director
* Progressive and successful work history
* Professional licensure preferred
