Bairstow Eves, part of the Connells Group, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Estate Agency Area Manager to lead our 8 residential sales branches across East Essex. This senior leadership position offers the chance to make a significant impact on branch performance, market share, and team development within one of the UK’s most recognised estate agency brands.

The Role:
As Area Manager, you will drive performance across your region, ensuring branch managers and their teams are motivated, engaged, and achieving exceptional results. You will:
4. Coach, develop, and lead teams to maximise productivity and performance
5. Drive employee engagement through proactive recruitment, retention, and development strategies
6. Manage and report on the region’s P&L, ensuring targets are met and profitability is maintained
7. Identify and act on opportunities to grow market share and boost branch performance
8. Take proactive measures to address underperformance and deliver sustained results
About You:
We’re seeking a proven leader who can bring energy, commercial insight, and a track record of success, with:
9. Experience leading high-performing teams in estate agency or a similar fast-paced, customer-focused sector
10. Strong commercial acumen with extensive P&L accountability
11. Inspirational leadership skills, combining influence, approachability, and humility
12. A proven history of driving business growth and exceeding targets
