Taylor Stevenson is proud to be working with a well-known and reputable Logistics company looking for Customer Service Representative to join their team on a temporary basis with potential to go full-time. You will be responsible for contacting customers ahead of scheduled deliveries to confirm details, prevent access issues, and ensure a smooth delivery experience. This role involves proactive communication, accurate data entry, and coordination with internal teams to manage any changes to delivery schedules as below: Carry out 4 day and day 1 calls to customers The first is 4 days in advance of the delivery taking place - this is to advise the customer that we are coming to make a delivery Day 1 calls - day prior to delivery we call all customers again to advise the 2-hour time slot for the delivery During the calls there are certain topics that must be covered - these are to avoid access issues: Ensure that someone over 18 will be home to accept the delivery and to confirm all is good to go ahead. Delivery via a tail lift this also must be discussed Keeping pets and small children safe whilst the delivery takes place etc Delivering to room of choice Must confirm we can attend in the size of vehicle (12T 18T rigids) There will be occasions when the customer will want to either cancel the delivery or reschedule the delivery - this is something you will need to facilitate. These details will need to be entered onto an app on the computer and there will be other small admin tasks to complete. Working hours – Tuesday to Saturday Salary - £12.21ph INDCT
