At Steer Automotive Group, we’re looking for a skilled and motivated Panel Technician to join our busy Doncaster accident repair centre. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced vehicle body repair professional to join a modern, forward-thinking business that invests in its people, technology, and repair standards. About the Role As a Panel Technician, you’ll carry out high-quality structural and cosmetic vehicle repairs, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards. You’ll work within a professional bodyshop environment using the latest repair methods, tools, and equipment. Key Responsibilities Carry out structural and cosmetic panel repairs on a wide range of vehicles Replace, repair, and align vehicle panels to manufacturer specifications Complete repairs using approved accident repair methods and techniques Use welding equipment including MIG/MAG welding systems Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards Work efficiently to productivity targets while maintaining excellent workmanship Collaborate with painters, MET technicians, estimators, and workshop teams Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment What We’re Looking For We’re looking for candidates with: Previous experience as a Panel Beater or Panel Technician within an accident repair centre or bodyshop Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques Experience with MIG/MAG welding and structural repair work ATA accreditation or equivalent qualifications (preferred but not essential) Excellent attention to detail A strong work ethic and positive attitude The ability to work effectively as part of a team Apply Today If you’re an experienced Panel Technician looking for a new challenge in Doncaster, we’d love to hear from you.
