We are seeking a skilled and analytical Business Analyst to play a key role in bridging business needs, customer outcomes, and IT delivery.
This role is central to understanding business processes, capturing clear requirements, and ensuring that IT solutions deliver meaningful improvements for customers and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with business, operational, and customer stakeholders to understand requirements and desired outcomes.
* Analyse current and future state processes, systems, and customer journeys.
* Produce clear business and functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
* Act as a liaison between business teams, IT delivery teams, and third‑party suppliers.
* Support solution design, prioritisation, and delivery across IT platforms and integrations.
* Contribute to testing activities, including defining test scenarios and supporting user acceptance testing.
* Identify impacts, risks, and dependencies across systems and stakeholders.
* Ensure solutions align with IT standards, data governance, security requirements, and architecture principles.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
* Experience working on large, complex IT projects (e.g., in Test Manager or Business Analyst roles).
* Strong understanding of formal testing methodologies, including test scripts, test plans, documentation, and governance processes.
* Ability to execute structured testing processes and deliver outputs in line with defined standards.
* Previous people management experience is desirable for Test Manager roles.
* Strong general IT background across all roles; specific systems experience is not required.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
* Analytical, structured, and pragmatic approach.
