Job Description
We are recruiting a Quality Technician who will work closely with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering teams to ensure quality systems comply with GMP and are adhered to by all personnel.
Responsibilities
* Raise Quality Notifications in accordance with standardised practices and ensure non‑conforming product is segregated and identified according to relevant procedures, including root‑cause investigation.
* Audit Device History Records to ensure completeness and compliance with GMP requirements.
* Conduct product inspections as required by process‑control plans, including dimensional and functional checks.
* Support SAP/Flexnet requests such as blocking/unblocking product and investigating quantity discrepancies.
* Support validation/trial runs in manufacturing to ensure products are controlled appropriately.
* Assist the Quality Engineering team with reasonable requests as they arise.
* Coordinate product returns when they arise.
Preferred Requirements
* Experience in a controlled manufacturing environment.
* IT literate with working knowledge of MS Office.
* Strong communication and influencing skills.
* Ability to make informed decisions and communicate details to production team members.
Additional Job Information
Shift pattern: 3 days on / 3 days off; site operates 24 hours, 7 days a week. Part‑time role – Red Shift 17:00‑23:00.
Location: GBR Plymouth – Belliver Industrial Estate.
Salary
£15,000 – £16,000 per year + benefits.
