Job Title: SC Cleared Network Engineer
Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Security Cleared Network Engineer to join a leading telecoms client. This hands-on engineering role involves providing configuration, installation, and support to the network estate, requiring strong LAN/WAN, MPLS, and IP skills.
Must be SC Cleared through the MOD
Responsibilities
1. Act as onsite technical expert and SME for LAN/WAN/Wifi technologies, serving as the primary point of contact for customers.
2. Participate in a 2nd/3rd Line Technical Support & Delivery team, focusing on complex technical delivery activities supporting specific areas of Customer Services.
3. Ensure complex delivery in line with customer SLAs.
4. Actively participate in customer governance cycles.
5. Engage in accurate resource planning and forecasting.
6. Manage complex incidents with a focus on technology and solutions.
7. Conduct root cause analysis for major incidents and escalated faults.
8. Monitor and manage operational aspects of Voice/Data networks and associated systems.
9. Provide 2nd line support to resolve user faults and implement changes on networks.
10. Offer technical and fault management capabilities, providing 2nd/3rd line support to resolve network issues.
Essential Skills
11. Strong proficiency in network engineering.
12. Expertise in LAN/WAN, MPLS, and IP technologies.
13. Experience with Cisco systems.
14. Knowledge of Palo Alto Firewall.

15. Good stakeholder and customer-facing skills.
