What you will be doing:
IT Budget Planning
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of the annual IT budget (CAPEX/OPEX).
* Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices for Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimisation.
TCO Management
* Implement effective budget control mechanisms and processes.
* Collaborate with finance and program managers to ensure smooth budget submissions and approvals.
* Assist with business case creation for investment review boards and track budget changes.
Qualifications and Skills
* Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (desirable).
* Extensive experience in IT cost management, financial analysis, and portfolio budget management.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Desired professional certifications (CMA, CPA, etc.).
* Familiarity with cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cost optimization in cloud environments.
* Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Experience with contract management software and tools is desirable but not essential.
