SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant for a company based in Dudley.Key Responsibilities:
* Covering 3 sites to assist with reconciling bank statements and manage accounts payable and receivable
* Support month-end and year-end close processes
* Maintain and update financial records and documentation
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
* Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support
* Handle inquiries from clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant or in a similar role
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
