Job Title: Financial Controller (12:Month Fixed:Term Contract : Maternity Cover)
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Salary: GBP 45,000 : GBP 50,000 per annum
Our client, a well:established manufacturing business based in Corby, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their team on a 12:month fixed:term contract to cover maternity leave. This is a key role within the finance function, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a fast:paced, operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
: Oversee day:to:day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance
: Manage month:end and year:end close processes
: Prepare and review management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
: Provide financial analysis and insight to support business decision:making
: Maintain and improve financial controls and processes
: Manage cash flow, working capital, and cost control initiatives
: Liaise with external auditors and support audit processes
: Lead and develop a small finance team
Requirements
: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
: Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role
: Background in manufacturing or a similar operational environment preferred
: Strong technical accounting knowledge and commercial awareness
: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
: Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
