AWC Staff Services are looking for a Quality Engineer/Advisor to manage the delivery and closure of the data books for the Chelmer's AGI Relocation Project, in Chelmsford.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensuring systems and processes are in place and implemented for delivering products
* Ensure that the Contract Data Books are compiled and accepted by the Client in a timely manner
* Providing leadership on quality matters to the delivery team.
* Ensuring that quality plans and associated processes are in place to deliver right first time to client specification and provide training and support as required to ensure this is delivered.
* Review of Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and associated documents
* Ensuring systems are in place that allows the required specification to be clearly agreed and delivered with our client's technical representatives, project, sub-contractor supply chain
* Undertaking audits to monitor quality procedures/processes are being followed.
* Supporting the delivery of project and business stream quality programs and actions
* Regular liaison with the Project Management Team onsite (MGroup, Client & Sub-contractors)
* Attend site meetings
* Weekly reporting to the Quality Manager (via Teams) with regular updates on the Data Books Trackers
Essential Skills and Experience:
* A formal qualification in Quality Management required e.g. Diploma BSI, ISO or similar
* Trained as Lead Auditor and/or Internal Auditor
* Experience of ongoing management of Data Books compilation/acceptance, including auditing and non-conformance
* Experience in QMS/BMS Implementation
* Experience of working on construction sites with-in the Oil & Gas Industry
* Experience of Welding, NDT, Pressure Testing, Coating/Painting and Concrete activities
* Good computer skills e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint

Duration: 1 Year (potentially longer)
