DP World is looking for an Operations Supervisor to join its busy Hinckley site. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading people, creating a positive team environment, and keeping operations running smoothly in a fast-paced setting.
Shift Pattern
Rotational shift pattern (SFP):
08:00 – 16:30
12:00 – 20:30
16:00 – 00:30
1 rostered Sunday every 4 weeks (08:00 – 16:30)
Key Responsibilities
1. Support and lead the team during daily operations
2. Promote a safe, positive, and collaborative working environment
3. Monitor shift performance and help achieve operational targets
4. Support training, coaching, and team development
5. Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively
6. Encourage continuous improvement and process consistency
7. Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, and management
What We’re Looking For
8. At least 2 years’ supervisory experience within a fast-paced logistics environment
9. Confident leadership and strong communication skills
10. Organised, proactive, and people-focused approach
11. Ability to analyse problems and make effective decisions
12. Comfortable working in a dynamic operational environment
