Salary £26,000-£28,000 Depending in experience.
My client is seeking a Assembly Technician to join their growing team on a permanent basis. As a assembly technician you will be working on a range of machines. Due to continued growth there is an opportunity for the appointed individual to grow within the business and move into other within the business.
Assembly Technician Key Responsibilities
Assembly of company standard products & project machines. Assembly processes include, mechanical fitting of drive motors, gear boxes, sheetmetal and precision components plus pneumatic and hydraulic systems and controls
Use of assembly procedures / Drawings.
Accurately record build status & faults on transit documentation.
Reporting to the Assembly team leader.

What We're Looking For the Assembly Technician
Time served apprenticeship in mechanical / Electrical engineering as appropriate or evidence in experience in the relevant field. City & guilds, EITB or B- Tech are normal.
Ability to work in a safe, accurate and timely manner with high quality levels, and to strict due dates
Ability to work as part of a team, and contribute effectively to the overall operational environment
Report & record concerns encountered during the build process.
Solve problems encountered during the build process.
An ability to learn and take on new skills, as training on products and to bolster current skills will be provided
Reading, understanding & interpretation of technical assembly drawings including hydraulic, pneumatic and/or electrical circuit diagrams
Work to quality standards i.e. ISO(Apply online only) & business objectives
Flexibility, as overtime maybe required.
