Teesside Gas Processing Plant (TGPP) is an independently owned gas processing facility located in the northeast of England. TGPP is a highly efficient and flexible gas processing plant which has, since construction, been operated and managed to world class standards by the same highly motivated and proficient team.
The Opportunity
We are now recruiting for a SHE Advisor. The primary function of the role is to oversee and support the SHE activities within the SHE Department. The responsibilities include advising on these areas to ensure that practices, procedures, and systems comply with statutory requirements, industry standards, and px Group guidelines.
Safety is px’s number one business priority, and you will be at the forefront of supporting, delivering and communicating with the px SHEQ systems, processes, and procedures.
You’ll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence.
Key Responsibilities
* Work effectively and positively with all px employees, customers, contractors and visitors to promote a positive safety culture and awareness.
* Provide relevant and accurate SHE advice, information and guidance to both PX and contract personnel. To include direction on company procedure, current and future legislative compliance requirements, changes and amendments.
* Collect and manipulate environmental data required for environmental permitting reporting.
* Positively represent px and the SHE Department at internal and external forums requiring an HSE presence.
* Undertake accurate internal & external audits, assessments and inspections to the required standards and timescales, communicating and closing-out action points to completion.
* Undertake investigations into accidents and incidents, preparing accurate and timely reports and ensuring appropriate communication and close out of recommendations.

Minimum Requirements
* IOSH Managing Safely.
* Working with and promoting Company SHE systems and data Inspection and auditing activities.
* SHE reports to internal and external standards and bodies.
* Experience working on a 24/7 industrial site Provision of clear, accurate and timely advice.
* Experience completing investigations into incidents and events, and SHE reports to internal and external standards and bodies.
* Knowledge of SHE legislation, environmental permitting, COMAH regulations, Permit to work systems
