Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Manager (Band 6) to join the Group Executive Office at the Norfolk and Waveney University Hospitals Group. This key coordination role supports the Group Chief Nurse, Group Medical Director, Group Chief Delivery Officer and Group Chief Finance Officer, ensuring the effective running of senior leadership functions across the Group.


Key Responsibilities

* Manage complex diaries, coordinate meetings and governance processes, and support senior leaders across the Group.
* Produce high quality reports, briefings and dashboards for Board and senior briefings.
* Track key actions and decisions, maintain accurate minutes and action logs with timely follow-up.
* Support governance and assurance processes by maintaining accurate records and liaising with hospital and corporate teams.
* Collate, analyse and summarise information for Board reports, dashboards and senior briefings.
* Coordinate leadership-led projects, monitor milestones and delivery.
* Manage workforce administration including recruitment coordination, appraisal tracking, sickness and annual leave monitoring, and maintaining accurate ESR records.
* Support financial management activities, including tracking cost improvement initiatives and assisting with business cases and proposals.
* Act as a professional first point of contact, build relationships across clinical and non-clinical teams, and identify opportunities to improve ways of working through digital tools and processes.


Additional Functions

* Serve as trusted partner to the Head of Performance and Head of Clinical Business & Reporting.
* Provide project management and coordination support across a wide range of strategic and operational priorities.
* Proactively suggest and implement improvement ideas in performance, quality, workforce and finance.
