Hotel Sales Manager
Our client is currently seeking a to Hotel Sales Manager lead sales efforts and drive revenue growth through proactive business development. The Sales Manager will have a proven track record in hotel sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets across rooms, groups, meetings, and events.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and market prospecting.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, securing repeat business and managing the sales pipeline through CRM systems.
* Conduct site inspections, client presentations, contract negotiations, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful event execution.
* Collaborate with marketing to create targeted promotions and campaigns that support sales initiatives.
* Analyse sales performance, monitor market trends and competitor activity, and present reports to hotel leadership.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
* 3+ years of experience in hotel sales or a related hospitality sales role.
* Strong understanding of hospitality sales strategies and local market dynamics.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven ability to close deals and meet/exceed targets.
* Proficiency in hotel sales systems (e.g., Opera) is a plus.
