Responsibilities
* Perform maintenance and repairs on fixed and mobile plant equipment within your scope of competence.
* Conduct planned maintenance and inspections, maintaining accurate records in line with management requirements.
* Monitor and inspect plant equipment in accordance with site regimes.
* Identify and resolve potential issues to maximise plant availability and minimise unplanned downtime.
* Carry out cleaning and housekeeping duties as required, ensuring compliance with site standards.
* To be able to operate machines in a safe and proper manner.
* To undertake maintenance works to static plant as required by manufacturer and Heidelberg Materials.
* To maintain and repair static and mobile plant in a safe and efficient manner.
* To maintain where required mobile plant in a good order physically with refuelling, greasing, cleaning in accordance with the manufacturers and Heidelberg Materials recommendations.
* To complete daily inspection sheets of the conditions of static and mobile plant when required.
* To report problems or defects of static and mobile plant to the Plant Supervisor and Operations Manager.
* To complete near miss reports as required by Site Management.
* To operate plant and machinery in an energy efficient manner.

Education/Qualification
* Computer literate
* Good general education required, and large amount of health and safety regulations and Quarry Regulations are required to be understood and carried out.
