Digital Account Director
London (Hybrid)
£300–£350 per day (Outside IR35)
Mostly Remote
If you’re a seasoned Digital Account Director who can drop into an account, get a grip quickly, and steady the ship while driving growth — this contract will appeal.
I’m working with an independent digital agency who need an experienced safe pair of hands to lead several key client relationships and keep momentum strong across multi-channel activity. You’ll be the strategic lead across core accounts, working closely with channel specialists to ensure work lands smoothly and delivers impact.
Responsibilities:
• Owning day-to-day leadership of tier-one client relationships
• Setting the strategic direction across SEO, PPC, Display and wider digital activity
• Working closely with delivery teams to ensure campaigns run on brief, on time and with clear measurable success
• Leading client conversations, presenting strategy, results and recommendations with confidence
• Identifying opportunities to broaden channel mix and grow revenue within existing accounts
• Supporting new business pitches when needed
• Helping shape case studies, award entries and thought-leadership content
You’ll also line manage an Account Manager and Exec during your time there — keeping performance strong, supporting development and ensuring the team are aligned and motivated.
Skills Needed to Apply:
• Strong agency background with proven experience leading digital client relationships
• Solid understanding of SEO and Paid Media, able to simplify the complex for senior stakeholders
• Commercially sharp and comfortable identifying and delivering growth opportunities
• A confident communicator who can influence, challenge and build trust quickly
• Experience leading and developing team members
• Someone who hits the ground running and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-client environment
