Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing
Pay: £88.94 - £100 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or from a start date that suits you
About the Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant in Sheffield, you will support children with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties. Working 1:1 and in small groups, you'll help pupils engage with learning, build confidence, and develop essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN.
Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.
Encourage inclusion and promote positive learning behaviour.
Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
Liaise with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to support progress.
Candidate Requirements
✔ Experience working with children with SEN (essential).
✔ Understanding of Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
✔ Patient, adaptable, and empathetic nature.
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
