This opportunity is ideal for an immediately available Finance professional with strong manufacturing experience, looking for a role with long-term potential.
Salary/benefits:
£65,000-£70,000 (pro rata / equivalent)
Flexible working - hybrid model available
Job Duties:
* Oversee accounts payable and sales processing, supervising 1 member of staff
* Full production of monthly management accounts pack with detailed commentary
* Provide analysis of month-end reporting, including variance analysis
* Take ownership of the costing model, ensuring accuracy and continuous improvement
* Analyse profit margins by customer and product line
* Manage invoice discounting processes and cash management activities
* Produce robust cashflow forecasting
* Provide financial and stock control support to senior leadership team
* Mentor and develop junior team members in accounting best practices

Ideal experience
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified (or Qualified by Experience)
* Previous Financial Controller or senior finance experience within a manufacturing environment
* Strong understanding of Bill of Materials xsngvjr (BOM), MRP systems and margin analysis
* Experience with Sage 200 and ideally Sicon Manufacturing (or similar integrated MRP systems)
* Working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools advantageous
* Strong Excel skills with the ability to manipulate large data sets
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Well organised with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
