The role
You will lead a large, multi-disciplinary workshop team, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. Working closely with production teams, you will translate design ideas into buildable solutions while maintaining smooth day-to-day workshop operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage workshop staff and freelancers, setting clear expectations and maintaining performance
2. Plan resources, workflows, and schedules across multiple concurrent projects
3. Oversee scenic construction from concept through to completion
4. Review technical drawings and ensure buildability and accuracy
5. Monitor budgets, materials, and labour to maintain strong commercial performance
