About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Spray Painter. This is a hands-on role requiring a high level of skill and attention to detail, producing high-quality finishes on a wide range of components and capital equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming
Mix paints and coatings to specification, including 2-pack polyurethane systems
Apply coatings using air-fed spray equipment to achieve consistent, high-quality finishes
Inspect completed work and carry out any necessary rectification or touch-ups
Maintain and clean spray booths, spray guns, compressors, and associated equipment
Adhere to all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE and safe handling of paints and solvents
About You
You will be a skilled and reliable Spray Painter with experience across both industrial and automotive environments.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as a Spray Painter in industrial and automotive settings (e.g. machinery, plant, structures, vehicles, or bodyshop work)
Strong knowledge of paint systems, including epoxies, industrial coatings, and automotive refinishing products
Confidence in spray application techniques and equipment setup, including pressure and gun adjustments
Excellent attention to detail, with a strong eye for colour matching and finish quality
Sound understanding of safety regulations relating to spraying, ventilation, and material storage
