A four-day daily housekeeping role has become available for an experienced person to look after the home of a friendly family of four, including two happy girls aged eight and ten.
The family live in a beautiful spacious house in Wooburn Green, Buckinghamshire. They have a regular weekly cleaner, so the family would like help to keep their busy home running like clockwork in between.
You will be required to work Monday-Thursday, 08.00-12.00 (16 hours/week). This could also work as an afternoon role if required, but the preference is for the morning. There could also be some ad hoc additional hours, but these will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.
The ideal candidate will be friendly, trustworthy and possess a keen eye for detail. Previous experience of working in a family home is essential. Although this is a housekeeping role, a love of children and playing the occasional game would be a wonderful addition. It would also be useful if you could drop the children at school in the morning if the parents are busy. There will be a fully insured car for use on duty.
Duties to include:
• Preparing the children’s packed lunch and school bags each day
• Tidying and organising the home, cupboards, etc
• Dusting, vacuuming and mopping when required
• Family laundry
• Occasional ironing
• Making and changing beds
• Keeping on top of supplies and organising food orders
• Preparation of a simple, healthy and nutritious family meal each day
• Running household errands (post office, dry cleaning etc)
• Dealing with tradesmen and deliveries
The family is looking for someone who would like to muck in and become part of the family.
