We are seeking an RS Teacher to join an excellent school in Preston. This full-time position starts ASAP and runs until the May half term, with the potential to extend or become permanent. The role involves teaching religious studies to all year groups, providing a comprehensive and engaging curriculum.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging RS lessons across all year groups.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic development.
* Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
* Maintain up-to-date records of students' progress and attendance.
* Participate in departmental meetings, parent conferences, and other events.
* Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience in teaching RS at various educational levels.
* Strong understanding of the current curriculum and teaching standards.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
* Commitment to professional development and maintaining high teaching standards.
