In bringing together these functions, we are creating a single point of origin and rationalisation for our work, anchored in audience. The Audiences team leads our ‘for whom’ and is where our work starts. They provide insight and work with leaders to commission for audiences. The commissions managers and insight leads will work together to understand data and trends and bring the voice of the audience in. They will frame crucial questions and facilitate the prioritisation of our audience-facing work. They will hand off strategic audience commissions to the Planning & Programmes team to develop into delivery plans. The Commissions Officer will provide coordination of our Commissioning work and support the organisation of our workflow, ensuring smooth and effective running. Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.The Commissions Officer plays an important role in our audience development and commissioning work. You will be supporting senior leaders in the planning and delivery of commissions that support strategic and audience goals.
