Working together with our dedicated social work teams, we provide essential support for children and families in our community.About the RoleA new opportunity has become available for a part-time Team Support Officer to provide countywide administrative support to the Special Guardianship Support Team. Working 20 hours per week (4 hours per day, i.e. 09:00-13:00, or 10:00-14:00), Monday to Friday based in Kidlington, with one day a week at Didcot.The Special Guardianship Support Team provides essential advice, guidance, and ongoing support, along with conducting financial assessments, sourcing support and applying for funding for therapeutic services for special guardians and children. As a Team Support Officer, you will be working closing with the Special Guardianship Support Team with essential administrative tasks by receiving queries and referrals from special guardians via telephone or email, ensuring all aspects are actioned within a timely manner. You will be maintaining records using our Childrens Social Care database, recording case notes, uploading documents and initiating referral forms to pass to the social workers. You will be supporting with financial transactions for the team ensuring financial information is recorded appropriately for auditing purposes. You will be maintaining the teams tracking spreadsheets, along with data collation and analysis to provide statistical information to the Team Manager and Service Manager.About youWe are looking for an enthusiastic person who has strong IT skills, which includes using databased systems, with excellent skills in the use of MS applications such as Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
