One of my well-established Technically Advanced engineering clients has a new opportunity due to growth for an Internal Sales Coordinator.
As the Internal Sales Coordinator will be involved in all aspects of sales/tender project support, internal sales to re connect with customers, based in a modern fast paced manufacturing open office site.
This role is ideal for a pro-active and well organised individual who is looking to develop their existing sales skills in a busy services environment.
You will be one of the main contacts for some Huge National Key Accounts advising on tenders and product services this company additionally provide – this is a very challenging customer account management role.
This role is managing existing client key accounts throughout the UK and maximising on business through excellent delivery of customer service and account management. This is a great opportunity for you if you enjoy building and maintaining customer relationships. You thrive and enjoy the pressure that comes with working in a business development environment.
You will be assigned some existing key customer accounts that you will develop through delivery of excellent customer service – this is NOT a sales role its liaising with existing customers and advising on tenders and new additions to the portfolio of products as well as managing current regular product projects.
You will also manage weekly calls to lapsed clients to understand their current trading needs and see if they would be happy to re connect offering to provide a quotation for their up and coming tenders.
You will build fun professional relationships with the customers and diarise calls with them looking after all of their needs, checking on their project orders and keeping them happy.
Proactive inbound and outbound customer calls
Professional telephone manager
Managing and calculation tenders and quotations
Updating internal systems
Managing critical path for client production schedule
Managing existing customer accounts
Calls to lapsed customer accounts to re connect and establish new order enquiries
Along with processing customer project orders, you will provide quotations, process customer invoices, liaise with production for lead times for customers, update customers record accurately and generally account manage all existing customer enquiries.
Working in busy & thriving office, you have an excellent telephone manner and the confidence to maintain a high level of customer service.
You may experience working in a sales role and are not looking to stay in a target environment but enjoy calling customers and building relationships.
The role will be split managing existing customer accounts and calling previous customers to tr and establish a new relationship and generate new orders/tenders.
