A respected sports and leisure provider for schools and camps is seeking a Managing Director to work with the owner to execute the company’s growth plan. The Managing Director must have excellent managerial and leadership skills with previous experience educating children of all ages through physical activity/sporting lessons and classes. In addition, the Managing Director will need to have strong relationship building, financial, and marketing skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Report KPI’s to the management team
Ensure the team is aligned with the company’s strategic plan and with measurable objectives
Identify opportunities for business development and business growth
Work alongside the operations lead to ensure the key operational KPI’s are being tracked and improved
Ensure standards for the way we do business are maintained and go above and beyond customer expectations
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
Implement strategies to improve customer service and satisfaction.
Improve brand positioning through brand awareness, leveraging relationships and developing commercial partnerships
Create an environment and a culture where company's core values, mission, and purpose drive the right behaviours.
Encourage and foster transparent and open communication across the organisation
Ensuring the business is on track to achieve its financial targets
Using financial reporting and analysis to influence commercial decisions.
Identify any options to improve business profitability through cost reduction, efficiencies or new opportunities.
Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:
Strong leadership and managerial skills
Experience in the leisure or physical training sector
Have previously educated children of all ages via physical activity or sporting, classes and lessons
Is able to complete an enhanced DBS check
Have a driving licence
Salary: £50,000 + bonus
