About the role: We are looking for someone to effectively coordinate and control the inbound and outbound movements of goods and ensure all relevant paperwork is completed Responsible for: Coordinate and control inbound and outbound movements of goods through couriers Produce all relevant Logistics paperwork for all goods leaving Liaise with all departments to resolve any issues, ensuring they are dealt with accordingly Understand carriage charges and supply quotes from carriers for special deliveries Collate and gather evidence for lost/damage claims and complete all relevant paperwork Book in and raise purchase orders for warehouse packaging and consumables Assist customers at the Trade Counter by providing information and support with purchases Liaise with drivers and relevant departments to resolve delivery issues in a timely manner Collate and report data on Warehouse KPIs Allocate all delivery and collection requests to the appropriate vehicle and route, ensuring vehicle weights and volume capacities are not exceeded when covering Transport Planner Ensure all delivered/collected paperwork is returned to the relevant department Ensure all items for internal transfer are labelled correctly Ensuring stock materials and works orders are accurately picked, double checked and packed. Safely transporting finished items from the drop zone area of the Warehouse into packing area to pack when required. What experience do you need to have: Strong communication skills.
