Our Head Office is based in Stockton-on-Tees and is home to our administrative support teams, engineering & maintenance support team & energy services teams. The Offices are located on the river Tees with close access to walks, shops and restaurants.
The Opportunity
We are now recruiting for an Procurement Administrator to be based at our Stockton Office. The Procurement Administrator will work as part of a high performing, customer focused Procurement team, providing a range of business administration & systems support services.
You’ll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
* Monitor multiple Procurement email inboxes and action requests.
* Assist with ongoing supplier management, quality monitoring and issues, including NCRs and positive feedback
* Order processing and expediting
* PPE stock control
* Investigate invoice queries including monthly finance action logs and credit card reconciliation
* Build relationships and liaise with other departments
* Maintaining system records, document development and formatting
* Contribute to the development of, and compliance with, px procurement policy, procedures and systems
* Agenda setting and note taking in department and supplier meetings
* Administration support for other px sites as required
* Assist with internal Procurement audit compliance
* Other duties in line with business needs
* Assist with facilities management (including booking building maintenance services for head office)
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
The job holder will have;
* GSCE’s A-C grades including Maths & English or equivalent level qualifications
* Experience in a general Administration role, ideally gained within a busy office or reception environment.
* Confident in using Microsoft packages to produce professional documents and letters.
* Able to prioritise own workload.
* Able to use own initiative and problem solving.
* Confident in communicating with others, in person, by email & phone.
* Ability to see a task through from start to finish competently.
